910AD Operatic Touring Company | Interesting stories from unexpected places
A collaboration with New York Composer, Andre Fratto, and Principal Soprano, Rachel Kobernick; the 910AD Operatic Touring Company, promoted by TDCiC, is producing the premiere of this new opera in 2027 in Wolverhampton.
Our event programme begins with our Opera Recital in Feb/2026 - with excerpts from the opera, featuring piano "reduction" with local pianist and soprano Rachel Kobernick, followed by a Q&A session with Andre and Rachel.
This will be followed by an Aria in August 2026, and full dress opera production in 2027.

Join us in February with Andre Fratto and Rachel Kobernick, Composer and Lead Soprano of Aethelfled - a new opera detailing the events leading up to the Battle of 910AD.
With excerpts from the opera, featuring piano "reduction" with local pianist and soprano Rachel Kobernick, followed by a Q&A session with Andre and Rachel.
The program will feature 40 minutes of music followed by a 20 minute talk back, with a total run time of around an hour.
Meet and greet to follow and the event will be featured by Tim Beech of WCR FM Radio.
