The Tettenhall District Community Trust, have initiated discussions with stakeholders to develop a dedicated museum and community hub in Tettenhall village, amalgamating ideas for a complimentary historical arts trail and exhibition . The initiative aims to support learning, engagement, and enrich the cultural heritage for residents of the district and wider Wolverhampton communities. The District Trust is aiming to secure a permanent building for the benefit of community use, learning and a showcase for cultural heritage.
At the Tettenhall District Trust's, 'Annual General Meeting', held on January 30th, 2025, the following proposal was unanimously accepted:
'Do you authorise the establishment of a Community Assets Working Group by the Trust/CIC to negotiate, acquire, use, or lease the Severn Trent building site and include it as a community asset in the plan? The proposed uses for the site include:
